Participated in a 7 days yoga retreat in Rishikesh at Abhayaranya Yoga Ashram. It was an amazing experience with the beautiful souls I met. The classes are the perfect combination of strong yet restorative and all teachers I've had have been wonderful and have offered just the right amount of support. My gratitude goes out to you all and I look forward to seeing you again at this beautiful ashram in the future.

My 200 YTTC was such a wonderful experience that I had been waiting for several years. I was planing to go there before the Covid 19 but this pandemic situation ruined all my plans. Going there I did not have any exceptions I was just following the path and it surprised me. This ashram had such a unique location on top of the mountain amidst the pure nature. Being far away from the society helped me to go deep inside, to hear my inner being, to find who I am. Meeting all new people from group members, teachers, which by the way are such professional yogis, I was just enjoying my time. And the time flew so fast. I am not going to say that it was easy both in terms of physical exercises (even though I have been practicing yoga and other sports regularly for seven years) and philosophical (real yoga philosophy changed my prospective of seeing the world) but I did not suffer, I enjoyed. If you want to learn real yoga and what’s behind it I suggest you to go there. Because it is the best place to do it! Namaste🙏

I completed my 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training course from Abhayaranya Yoga Ashram and the experience was simply refreshing and soul fulfilling. The atmosphere is calm and one can just slow down in life and relax here. Rishikesh Yogpeeth offers some of the best services in both food and stays. I cannot wait to complete my next course during my visit to Rishikesh again!

I have completed my 300 hours teachers training from Abhayaranya and my experience has been nothing but soul-fulfilling. The yoga ashram is located on the hill away from the city that makes it one of its kind. Teachers are very knowledgeable and always ready to extend help, place is neat and clean, staff is super helping and food is just awesome. It has been such a blessing to do my 200 hours of TTC here. Rishikesh Yogpeeth Abhayaranya has helped me deepen my meditation experience, gain a more complete understanding and experience of yoga, and most importantly, have provided me with the resources and knowledge to continue the practices at home. Our teacher Anup Purohit, Shashank, Vijaya and Digambarji were absolutely fantastic, a true representation of peace and harmony. The services were also of the highest quality: lots of love and care! I loved every single moment of being there. Don't think twice before choosing this place for your TTC!!! A suggestion: Keep in touch with your teachers as they will help you every time as there is a lot going-on at this place. You will become a part of the their upcoming events related to Yog Nidra, Meditation, a new concept from vedas (which could change your life) and ofcourse for your own questions related to postures practicing. ❤️❤️❤️😊🧚‍♀️🦚

Words wont suffice to explain the experience of my 1 month stay in Abhayaranya Yoga Ashram where I was fortunate to pursue the 200hr YTT course. I wont be exaggerating if I say the place itself is a piece of heaven on earth. I say heaven not only because the location itself is so unique, beautiful and peaceful but it was more the caring and friendly staff who made you feel in no time that you are a part of Rishikesh Yogpeeth family. Although the 1.5km(approx) hike might seem a bit challenging for some, it is definitely worth the effort and in about 2 weeks you will find a reattempt at it a piece of cake. Up there you experience a whole new minimalistic life, living the simple life & eating Satvik meals. They sure know how to give you a good experience so do expect a bonfire on a chilly winter night or if you're lucky and your stay coincides with an Indian festival be sure to expect a beautiful and colourful exposure to Indian culture. Now coming to the YTT course, I couldn't have expected a better course pattern and teachers assigned. There was absolutely no compromise on quality of our classes and we were lucky to get very sincere and passionate teachers who "really" worked on our alignment and teaching us the right techniques to take back to our own practises. We had Surinder sir, Prahlad sir and Gaurav sir for our Yoga philosophy/anatomy and Asana classes, Piyush sir for Ayurveda lessons and Pranita mam for our Mantra/Meditation/Pranayam lessons. By far the best Yoga training I have received. Dont be surprised if you find a family outside your family in Rishikesh Yogpeeth, as this is what this place gives you as a gift to take back with you. Digambar chachaji is so full of life and yet so grounded. His personal take on Bhagwad Gita every Friday was such a treat to the ears and mind. Charanjeet ji gives personal attention to all your needs, Dhiraj ji is always around to help in cafe and around the place, Pankaj bhaiya is literally the Jack of all trades (who else can fix a broken spectacles in 5 mins) and an amazing photographer! Sonu bhaiya and Sachin bhaiya make some of the most mouthwatering dishes you will ever come across, Susheela didi will give you probably the best massage of your life & Mahendar bhaiya will brighten up your day with his smiling face and "Namaste". This definitely was the first of my many visits to come!!

When I first came to Rishikesh Abhyaranya in the month of March 2020 for 300 hours of YTT I had little expectations in my mind (although the pics I saw were mind blowing). The yoga school staff was on time to recieve me from the airport. There is a pleasently surprisingly trek that we had to do from the road to the ashram which is in a top of a hill. Upon having a glimse of the ashram my heart was in bliss. The reception and welcome customs were very impressive. As a seeker and practitioner of yoga I was blown away by the level of professional expertise that all the teachers displayed. My asana practice accelerated, my knowledge in yoga philosophy and anatomy increased tremendously. Whether it's YTT (yoga teacher training) or short term yoga retreats Rishikesh Yogpeeth provides top quality services in probably the whole of Rishikesh. I would recommend this yoga school to everyone, it will be a once in a lifetime opportunity, once you go there you'll know what I mean. It was during the time of COVID lockdown so we were all stranded in the ashram even after the course was over but what surprised me was the genuine kindness and generosity displayed by the founders association of the ashram. They offered to let us stay for however long we wanted and they didn't really ask us anything in return. We did our best to contribute however little we could but nothing in comparison to the way we were welcome to extend our time there in the most serene, peaceful and beautiful place. They retained all the staff members to serve us while recurring losses (most probably) during the entire extra month we were there. These are rare and genuine people. Anyone who wants to experience a yogic life must visit here once and interact with some of the founding members (Digambar ji) You'll leave with a fresh perspective, a lot of unconditional love, kindness and acceptance in their hearts. Abhyaranya is truly a blessed place who's inception took with the best of intentions and one can truly feel this if they observe it closely. Namaste.
